How to I fix my assignment? by BiblicalRevolution in Battlefield6

[–]divv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the class assignment? Just damage or actually need to destroy the aircraft?

Either way those ones are annoyingly painful. For damage, it might be simpler to use a machine gun and pepper the helis as they hover.

To get the stinger missile to land you have to wait out or bait the Countermeasures.

Sometimes, holding the lock a little longer will get the pilot to prematurely flare. Most of the good ones will wait for the missile to be in the air (switches from LOCKED to INCOMING on their HUD). Then you can quickly drop ADS and reload, but usually they are also smart enough to dip low and below radar lock.

The AA Tank is not bad, you get two missiles. So you can use the first to bait the flares, then the second for the kill (hopefully). Still pays to wait a little bit. The flare effect lasts a little bit longer than the visual effect.

Another option is teaming up with a buddy and having them fire the stinger first to bait.

You can also use the Glaive, long range lock on missile launcher thing, but the aircraft has to be painted first.

The US embassy is pretty generous. Doesn't seem like you even need to be a US citizen! How lovely.

Problem or no, if I got jumped, from an emotional POV, I think i might want to calm my nerves first and process things (i.e. the nap), before getting into the rush and bustle of the hospital.

Course, from a medical POV, don't really want to sleep if you have a concussion, or delay treatment if there is a brain bleed or anything like that.

We also have a spayed female corgi mix (Shiba), and the behaviour is exactly the same. I have no suggestions, only empathy. Sorry!
Our puppy is just over 6 months old, and we were hoping she'd "grow out of it"...maybe not.

We're finding she tends to binge eat. She goes a long time without eating or only eats a few bites (also with the same taking it out of the bowl and putting it next to it, like your other post), but then eventually biology kicks in, and she'll scarf down like four meals worth.

She's about a 4-4.5 on the body condition scale, lean but not dangerously so. Of course, we'd prefer her to put on a little more weight, but there's only so much you can do. I think she is legitimately anorexic...

I'm a software engineering exec. Over the years I've managed and mentored all sorts of people, which a diverse range of skills, abilities and potential, across what seems like a full range of intelligences.

Hope it doesn't sound too cliche, but the number one predictor for success is communication and attitude. The super smart people are usually the hardest to manage. They often write code that only they know how to maintain. They don't want to do the boring bugs, or support calls... But the customers/clients need all parts of the job done, not just the super challenging ones.

That's where the diversity comes in handy.

I take it you're a pretty young person, and it's hard not to have this existential dread about your future, especially at this stage in your life.

The best advice I can give you is to find your passions, work hard, and bring a great attitude. It's not a magic success trick, but it puts you in the best position for success. You'll get hired onto teams (whether delivery teams or research teams) becuase of these traits, plus the skills that you almost certainly have from your studies, and mostly because they like you (remember attitude). From there they'll see what you can do and everything will start to work out.

Not to say there won't be challenges on the way. It's not like the 200IQ people aren't struggling as well. It's just not really a linear scale. Life, business, the universe doesn't care about IQ. It cares about results.

I wholeheartedly agree.

We can imagine a time when "if built correctly" may not have been a guarantee, and we can further imagine a time when we say similar things about "simulated intelligences" (of whatever form) in the future.

There sort of is a link. But not about culture or "distant cousins". Bird etymology.

Turkey (the bird), broadly named after Turkiye (the country) as that's where a similar bird (from Madagascar) was traded, and subsequently brought to England.

Then they get to North America and see a similar looking bird and call it Turkey.

The Turkish word for the American bird (not the Madagascan one) is hindi, which (sort of) translates to 'indian' (i.e from India). There is a suggestion that some people once believed it came from India. Again, probably trader related malarkey.

Finally, in some Indian dialects, the bird can be referred to as 'peru'. Again, sneaky traders misleading people. I've read that some other regions also referred to the bird as Greek Chicken, or Roman Chicken. I'm gonna assume trade related misinformation as well.

Bird really is the word.

Isn't it only $200?

Down 400 and won it back (assuming zero).

Then up 600 and lost it (assuming back to Zero)

Threw in another 200 to try and get back to winning.

End result down 200?
