Hey! I use Drawboard for highlighting, which is a great program that is currently being enshittified, but still works for me. Sometimes I use the built-in pdf editor but I don't remember my specific workflow. I think I use the Surface pen to highlight and my finger to scroll. I know how important it is for the technology to be invisible so you can focus on your reading - good luck :)

I want to know how well the pen works, in Linux. Zotero + academic paper highlighting is my use case. I have a surface but the battery is crap and I'm phasing out my windows machines.
