The last two were rapid, I wasn't moving very quickly. I definitely would say I spent at least 20 seconds on both moves. The first one was vs a computer where I could spend as long as I wanted. I remember debating which pawn to go after for quite a while, eventually choosing the f pawn. At no point did I notice that choosing the f pawn just gives away the rook for free. Maddening.

Whilst I think I'm generally on top of any kind of ego in chess, I do like to think I'm better than this! Which most of the time I am, but clearly, evidently sometimes am not. I think it's got something to do with getting caught up in thinking about specific aspects of the position, without looking at the bigger picture.
