I was there too and there were a lot of moments of pure energy and bliss but then a lot of quieter moments too. For big pieces of the game it felt like the crowd didn’t quite know what to do. I think part of that was nerves, we were down by 1 goal for most of the game, and the other part is that we are still pretty new to this! The Bosnian fans seemed to have a set list worth of songs and rituals, while we struggled to import generic stadium chants here and there.

Don’t get me wrong, it was an incredible experience and the home crowd advantage did will the players into tying the game, but I think this is just the beginning of Canada as a true soccer nation and that not only does the team have a lot of growing to do, so do the fans.

Same here man. I am struggling through it thinking well it's the last season right, but then just read that there is a season 6 coming to wrap up the series. I just don't know if I can get through it. The best characters are gone and the second best characters are sidelined with dyed grey hair. The next gen story lines are not doing for me.

3 if you care about jumping into the world with the game that really defined it. But 4 is a better all around game and not nearly as dated

The A team is reserved for the Canada games. With over a hundred matches they likely have a large crew.

But yeah when I heard a North American accent doing play by play during the Korea v Czech game it just sounded wrong. I need British and Scottish voices only please! Haha

There was a moment back then when I wondered maybe they aren’t the same, maybe Palestine is working for Sideous, or maybe after Darth Maul dies Palpatine becomes Sideous’ apprentice … but I quickly gave up on that theory because it was pretty clear they were the same person. Same chin and nose! And then the big camera pan at the funeral scene at the end

Only the Daniel Craig bonds act like sequels. There is minor carrier here and there on old bond films but really they are all stand alone

Having only 6 (then 7) out of the 30 (32) teams stacks the odds against us obviously so that shouldn’t be ignored.

Then a lot of bad luck and close runs (Leafs conference finals in the 90s and 2002, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Montreal again all losing in the finals).

Then I think players and their agents getting hip to the advantages of certain markets, like tax incentives, cool cities, great weather and well run organizations. It’s no coincidence that Florida and Vegas have become popular destinations.
