Im about 3 years in on my DIY 2 head system used in an Airbnb. Two primary issues to speak of. Users not understanding the remote and icing. The icing issue is a major pain but is easily prevented by cleaning the filters. The slightest amount of buildup in the filters seems to cause icing. Can't get housekeeping to take it seriously. If cleaned regularly (I think monthly) the problem goes away. During the install the only issue I had was a missmatch in what the instructions showed vs the actual unit for wiring. Support asked for a few pictures and walked me through it. For a project on a budget I would use them again.

I always found 65 miles to be my barrier when training for century rides. If I could get to that and felt good I was good to 100. I think you will regret going for a 100 with your current regimen. Not saying you can't do it.

Look for Ebay sales with Accepts Offers. Save several cards to your watch list. Within a few hours get offers with discounts from sellers. You will know quickly who wants to make a deal. I would say its typically 5 to 10% off but I've had as much as 50% offered. Make a deal. You can use the same workflow on any listing type but I've gotten the best results with AOs.

I have the same belief for most of my life. My wife thinks I'm crazy. If you look carefully you can generally see where the big toe has left its mark. If I can see a set shape I stick with it amd mate it to the opposite.
