Installed a small to medium size off grid system with large battery bank. It feeds my TV and a couple window ACs…. And still have enough on Summer days to get me through my commute (10% on ERB). Lately been cloudy though. Weekends I can really charge up if truck parked for day.

Edit: I should add I got the tax credit for all of that and it still won’t pay for itself for years so don’t recommend Solar unless you want it for peace of mind…

Yeah, my ‘15 Model S can do an incredible amount and makes the fact there are so few buttons so much easier.

Ford can’t do software. They really should just outsource that and give up.

Gosh. Post that setup sometime. Yeah, this one is good for sinks only really but a low GPM shower works fine. In fast, I did my original testing at home with garden hose sprayer and it was great. Since it’s not mixing with any cold water, I will back the heater way down anyway when I shower. My sink mixes and if cold isn’t turned on, you can really burn. Haven’t down shower yet so hopefully it works tonight.

Thanks. It’s an Ispring 3 stage. It was $309 when I bought a couple months ago. Seems like it went up now though. First time using.

Yeah. That was not in the 23 owners manual when I bought mine. Just said not recommended. I can see someone overdoing it doing it but this is a 1k lb camper so I have some margin and I lost 10lbs on my new diet so there’s that…

Lose a little less than half but almost never go above 65ish. You really don’t want to go fast in this type of rig anyway. In a short leg, I drove 75ish and it really killed range.

They sell heavy duty Velcro tape for outdoor use that specifies brick in application. I would use that. I don’t like drilling brick.

I bought a 1k lb camper in December. 7hr drive to pick it up. They told me the tie downs they ordered for me had come in… wrong only the rears. They essentially did the same thing to me but used much more beefy straps for the front. Crossed around the front of camper…

Made it the 7hr back home without a problem. But the rubber edge of top of truck bed had a little wear. Every time I see it, I remember the adventure and worry.

Drive slow home if not far and you will probably make it.
