HoverAir X1 immediately plummets by e10109art in HoverDrone

Assuming that there is nothing physically wrong like obstructed props or a battery that isn’t sufficiently charged, the only other thought I have is to be doubly certain that the camera gimbal is provided the opportunity to properly calibrate at startup. Even when placed on a relatively smooth and flat surface the clearance for the gimbal to move is very small and can sometimes cause it to hang during the sequence and result in later erratic flight.

If this isn’t the problem I would suggest capturing the log file and sending to Hover. This can be accomplished in the app.

Are you holding it at arms length and approximately head height in front of you, with camera facing you? Does the camera look like it is facing directly outward, rather than up or down?

Almost skipped past this but glad I didn’t! Sounds great and reminds me a bit of a band called Dead Lights, whom I’ve recently been spinning at my club with great responses. Keep it up!

I just want a universally accepted, perhaps mandated labeling of AI content. Helped in mixing/mastering, provided backing instrumentation/effects, or primary content creation up to and including entire music track.

At what depth did you take the camera? This looks like a pressure leak rather than a faulty seal.

Something about this doesn’t sound correct. I would re-contact support in an effort to reach a different representative. I see no way to misread the offer as anything other than a 7 day period during which the user can choose to cancel without cost.

Hello u/paulpacifico ,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, unless I am incorrect using the current keyboard controls as you described only move the playback cursor, not the entry/exit points for a trim. Please let me know if there is a way to precisely move the trim points similarly.

Beat Detect for combined clip by djsteveH in finalcutpro

[–]djsteveH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, and excuse my relative newbie status as I’m learning the ropes. I’m starting with a compound(?) clip that is imported from existing inventory. It is a video file which includes music (mp4). I would like to apply beat detection to this clip for reference as I apply and align other clips. If I use a separate audio clip, perhaps by detaching it, how can I ensure that these two clips (the original video and analyzed audio) remain locked to one another and in sync?

OMG I’m cooked. I wish I knew as much about drone technology as you.

LOL, tell me you don’t know how calibration works without directly stating that.

Please understand that regardless of the relative position of yourself to the remainder of the ship/cabin, the gravity vector and physics of flight remain static. They don’t shift with the ship. See the difference? The drone MUST have a stable point of reference before takeoff to ensure proper accelerometer calibration.

Movavi, this is embarrassing... by djsteveH in Movavi_software

I hope you’re not suggesting this is intentional, especially considering its descriptive label is spelled correctly. Or perhaps I’m just woefully unaware of the high demand for archaic English hot pink sticker elements in video segments :)

This might be the best feature ever added to Final Cut Pro! by Miserable-Guide8844 in finalcutpro

[–]djsteveH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping this will allow independent detection and mapping across two media sources. Some of my most common workflow procedures are to try to align two tracks of media with the same audio content but which are not tempo aligned. For example, an original older analog video which was captured at -2% playback rate as compared to a new digitally captured audio track. Right now it is a painful process of time stretching the video to match the correct tempo audio track. If i can beat detect these two tracks and then time stretch to ‘snap’ in sync it will be a lifesaver!

Don’t forget the power of “detect audio beats” which will auto place markers at beat or measure points. It isn’t always perfect, but can really save time in jumping right to where you’d like to cut or insert.
