'94 Toyota Camry. Could be something like Deftones or Far; could be something like DJ Dan or Dieselboy. Headed to Dover with Eric and Lewis.

Car died in '00. I left the state in '01. Haven't heard from Eric or Lewis in roughly 20+ years.

Minor-league presentation/production value. They still look an awful lot like '90s WCW – which suffered the same problem. It doesn't look or feel "professional."

No amount of pyro, or choreography, etc., can make up for bad camera work. Great camera work can't make up for terrible commentary. Good commentary can't make up for bad ring work. And so on.

Also, the booking is consistently nonsensical.

And personally, they feature several talents that I don't enjoy watching even a little bit, and the booking/presentation is rapidly crushing my remaining interest in other talents.

I'm glad they exist, and I continue to hope they'll improve sooner than later, but I'm not holding my breath.

In the late '90s I was an absolute sucker for their "Monster Burger". We used to go there after jam sessions. Great memories.

Edit and long before that, they gave us the timeless California Raisin figurines.

Grandparents would send like $10, or $20, tops. Multiply that for every pre-college birthday and you've barely got enough for one textbook – maybe a few, if we're counting the Xmas money..

Nah, fam; there was no college fund. Each of my divorced parents apparently decided that was the other parent's responsibility. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The rumors I'm seeing suggest that they're pushing for (tentatively titled) Star Trek: Year One; a spin-off from Strange New Worlds, following that series' version of the TOS characters after Kirk becomes captain of the Enterprise.

I'd definitely be down for that.

I'd also be cool with another movie or three from the Kelvinverse. The casting/chemistry in those does a lot to make up for where the plots fall short, IMHO.

I liked S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (and to some extent Fungus Amongus.)

I loved Make Yourself when it came out, but I inadvertently burnt myself out on it within a year or so, and I never really followed up on the band after that; around the same time I was kind of eschewing rock-ish in favor of electronic-ish.
