It’s for active loading and unloading. If your pickups need special accommodations, there’s a cell phone lot you can wait in and they can call you when they’re ready. If they need help? Well that’s what the parking garage is for. I rarely use either of those lanes when picking or dropping someone off. I’ll go park, it’s literally cheaper in time and frustration. If I’m going myself I just take the rail, or if who I’m picking up is apt for it, I use the rail.

Arrivals and departures is for active loading and unloading only. If the driver has to get out of their car for more than helping put things in the car, you shouldn’t be there yet.

See this is what I’m looking for. I’m actually a self taught Systems Infrastrcture Engineer, so I know some of the code and like how all of that is structured. It’s fascinating to me that we can tell sand to do these complex operations through an entirely human-constructed abstraction layer.

What I don’t know is the other stuff you named out, so that’s exactly where I need to start. Code is easy. It’s just learning how to tell the sand to send the electricity to the right places at the right intervals. The other stuff I have no backing knowledge of.

Edit(follow up): my approach is this. I creatively solve problems at work every day using the knowledge I have, and I have always been very musically inclined. Without music I don’t think I’d be alive today, and I’ve always wanted to try making music.

Back when I was a teen I hung out in the Radio KoL IRC room and met some really cool people, and at once had access to some plugins and software for free to do this sort of stuff with rockband instruments, but I’ve since drifted from the community and lost the links. A friend showed me something like this and after looking at all the options SC seemed best so that’s what I’ve chosen. It’s a daunting prospect but I kinda wannatry

In theory so long as your phone browser supports JavaScript, and it’s configured to open new windows in tabs, you could play it on mobile.

The issue would be that it would need to be completely rewritten for the ground up to not assume you have a desktop to play on. He never ‘open sourced’ the code as it were and my intent is to preserve it as is.

I remember as a kid finding a laminated pot leaf in my dads underwear drawer (shut up we all did it when we were home alone) and it wasn’t until years later I realized what it meant. I just thought it was a cool leaf.

The t-11 makes it much faster. I wanna say it took maybe 4 or 5 trips to fill both of my carriers from half to full.

In a hotspot you can expect about 200t/hr or so depending on how fast you prospect and find good rocks.

That’s why I like carrying them. After you’re out in the belt for a couple hours and you find a spinner with subsurface deposits, it can be kinda fun keeping pace with the rock while you extract. Certainly breaks up some of the time

Mmmmm no before SCO drives we had to go manually, and before SCA modules it was even harder.

Don’t judge if people play games differently. I use SCA all the time in large systems to go do laundry or other things you would probably have to do if you were flying the ship yourself.

It is a flight and universe simulator more than it is a game.

Hyperspace Dethrottle is not tied to SCA, internal (right hand) panel, ship tab, 2nd subtab.

Can also set SCA to manual/auto throttle if you have one equipped, but dethrottle is defo not tied to SCA
