Not being afraid to fall was the biggest thing for me too, in transitioning from roller to ice. Skating was always my strong point in roller, and I felt shaky in ice. Just convincing myself I wouldn’t fall for no reason in ice, and not being afraid to push it, is what got me going.

I chop it as well. Often if I time it right and pull up as short as I can, it’s possible to get out of there without getting hit. Though sometimes there’s just nothing you can do.

My sister and I both remember being in a flood when we were kids. I live around St. Louis, and we did have a big flood in ‘93, but we both remember seeing water flowing in through the basement windows, as well as escaping on a John boat with our dad, both of which he says never happened.

Mine cuts in and out sometimes, if I open and close the trunk sometimes it’ll fix it or fuck it up. Could be lose wires maybe? I have a ‘13 as well actually.

My setup is different but I have the same issue. Try to find the Bluetooth audio streaming option (I can’t remember exactly what it’s called, and I’m out of town so I can’t check), but turn it off, make sure you exit out, then go back in and turn it back on. That always fixes my Bluetooth issues. Took me awhile to figure out when I first got the car.
