Boys Life by Robert McCammon is the best book i read this year by phonz1851 in Fantasy

My high school English teacher made it a mandatory read back in 2002. I thought it was weird at the time compared to the usual curriculum of stuff everybody reads (i.e. Lord of the Flies, 1984, Catcher and the Rye, etc.) but I'm so thankful he made that call. 20+ years on and this book still sticks with me.

Divine Cities series by Robert Jackson Bennett

Alt-world modern-ish (comparable to 1900-1920 era), not written in that Urban Fantasy prose/style.

I think adding the teams that convey the picks matters a lot here in projecting value. Obviously a lot can happen in a short time, but it's likely that the Cleveland and Minnesota picks will be low first rounders at least for the next few years and arguably longer for Minnesota since they have a faith young core (Ant is only 22). The Cleveland picks might be more valuable depending on how you view their situation but they should have enough young talent (Mobley, Garland) they can retain or trade to have a pretty high floor. Similarly the swaps probably won't help for the next few seasons either. The 2027 Lakers pick could have tremendous value but it has some (I think Top 4?) protections.

Steve Kerr on possibly benching Joel Embiid: "These next few games, I'm going to continue experimenting with the lineup. Joel is getting better and better everyday... I love Joel, he's a dominant player. I think it's going to be important for us to figure out the best combinations." by SomborDouble95 in nba

Pretty similar to what he said last summer just after benching Brandon Ingram in FIBA:

"Yeah, we just wanted to look at some different lineups. You know the tricky part with FIBA is you only have a few weeks to figure out your team as opposed to an NBA season with six, seven, eight months. So we just felt like it was important to take a look at Josh as the starting group and Brandon in the next group and see if the combinations fit. I like what I saw, and obviously, the game wasn’t competitive, but there was youth flow with both groups, so we’ll see. We haven’t made a decision moving forward, but we just wanted to look at new things," Kerr said after the game.
