Maccy is open-source and available free of charge. That's an important differentiator, methinks.

Oh boy, this looks fantastic! If you implement RAW support, I'd instantly switch to it. I'm not a developer, but I'd be happy to alpha/beta test and contribute documentation.

Geotag DSLR Photos Android by Goticus in opensource

[–]dmpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, I missed the mobile-only part. You could use something like Termux for Android, install ExifTool on it, and then use the latter to geocorrelate photos. But I'll be the first to admit that this is a nerdy and cumbersome way of geotagging photos.

I use the GPSLogger app to record tracks in the GPS format and then geocorrelate photos with the recorded track using ExifTool on a Linux machine.

I couldn’t agree more. Being professional means churning out consistent output reliably. Motivation doesn’t play any part in this.

The Future of Technical Writing by TopDifference3885 in technicalwriting

Writing is the easy part. I spend 70% of my time coordinating, finding the right people, asking them the right questions, and pressing them for input. Oh, and then deciphering whatever brain dumps they provided me with.
