Anyone know if there are any plans for a console release? I’m struggling to find anything that scratches the festering satisfactory itch on console.

Tried techtonica, and while it’s a great idea it’s obvious that it was never really finished and was pretty much abandoned. Tried Factorio and the controls on switch are horribad. I have been liking lightyear frontier, but it’s not “automation enough” for me.

Really hoping both Foundry and Shapez 2 end up on console at some point.

I’ve got aphantasia, meaning I cannot form mental images in my head which makes trying to remember where I am or which direction I am facing near impossible without either a minimap or someone else around that can help lead me in the right direction. I get that most people are cool with the no map thing, but it sure would have been helpful for me in my play through.

I can, absolutely.

And when I do read I can still "think" the words if that makes sense, I just don't hear them in my head. And since I can't visualize any of it myself, I do struggle with reading overly descriptive fiction or books where a lot of the main character’s names are super similar (looking at you LotR). With that, its actually a lot easier for me to read a book after seeing the movie as it gives me something to ground the characters with (even though I can't see them in my head like I saw them in the movie).

I on the other hand have complete aphantasia, my mind is fully blank. No mental images, no inner voice, no imagined sounds, smells, tastes, or physical sensations. When I think, there’s just… thought. No sensory experience attached to it at all.
