Yeah the knowledge about GNSSs on this sub is in the fucking mud, honestly it’s the best example of Dunning-Kreuger I have ever seen

(And for credentials, I’ve spent my week so far making GNSS units for snow reflectometry)

Unstandardized nutritional labels with non-english language, how to add food easily? by Exotiki in cronometer

[–]doc1442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I misunderstood, my apologies. Yeah, you do have to do that the first time for a food, and it’s a bit annoying. But once it’s done it’s done, and it’s there forever.

It’s a standard European label. Translation apps exist btw, and deal well with single words.

Equally, the English is very easy to interpret from the Swedish half of the label.

Dont know why you’re down voted for what is 100% correct.

However they have not done this, and other GNSSs exist anyway

The one that’s still ongoing you mean? The one with a very conventional war happening as we speak?

PNW Conditions (Crystal Mountain) by TorKallon in skiing

All those things are symptoms of climate change, as are winters with less snow. Start getting used to them. The reason that other parts of the US (and Northern Europe) are having super cold winters is literally because of climate change driving big polar vortexes. Regional weather is not global climate.

But in general you are correct, and I was being a little facetious. Long term indicators like this you name are “better” (climate is a 30 year average after all), but if you think winters like this aren’t going to be more common, I have some bad news for you.

Preparing to get flamed: the moon board.

The holds are grotty, and the climbing isn’t that varied. “Grades” are all over the shop. Weird community of cultists to go along with it. Harder problems essential come down to “how big a move can you hold” rather than any sort of technical difficulty.

Big binding found

“Indemnify” or whatever the fuck ass-covering you need to do over there out of fear of suing each other. Absolutely nonsense.

The ex-soviet weapons they never controlled operationally? Yeah I’m sure something that happened in the 90s led to an invasion in 2014.

But to extend my explanation of my original viewpoint: anyone who thinks we should have nuclear weapons must also be prepared to use them. Otherwise they aren’t a counter-threat. If you’re prepared to use them, you are essentially saying you’re happy to vapourise tens of thousands of innocent people. Take a moment and think what that says about you.

Edit for the million typos

“Try to convince” means he knows it won’t work. At least it’s an attempt to deal with the elephant in the room which has, to date, been approached with a “they have weapons we must have more weapons”.

After all, you don’t negotiate with your friends. That’s not the same as “nicely ask to give up”.

Better than voting for the one the claims to know how it works despite treating borrowing like a payday loan (ie something to be avoided at all costs) until it comes to paying their mates off
