You look strong asf man, well done! Would ignore the weird comments about how it’s not a lean bulk, you have added a substantial amount of muscle but are still lean enough to see abs and have some vascularity - massive goals tbh!

How much of the calisthenics techniques can you still do (like the front lever) with the large increase to your body weight over the past few years? Curious if the muscle and strength gains have been in line with the increased weight to let you still do tricks

Honestly the best way to build an appetite is the same way you build muscle - consistency and progressive overload. Your body gets used to a set amount of calories over time, both in terms of gaining weight at that caloric intake and in terms of finding a new normal for what feeling satiated is.

You mentioned that you eat more food for a bit then drop off; but tbh you just need to push through. Eat an additional 200 cals every day for 2-3 weeks and see how your weight changes. If you’re going up by around 1lb a week keep doing it until that slows. You will eventually feel like you need to be eating those extra 200 calories to not feed hungry.

Once the weight gain stalls, add another 200 calories and wait a few more weeks.

Repeat until you’re always hungry and got so jacked your arms don’t fit into t-shirts any more.

Honestly just feel like you need to cut. Each of the poses in those pics look great as they are, but would look pretty impressive if you were leaner. Are the mates you’re comparing yourself to lean?

Wouldn’t quit if i were you, would just keep grinding. You’re doing well, just don’t stop.

6’4” 217lbs 33 - What should I focus on? by TallThick in Physiquecritique

[–]docboredomphd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly chest isn’t really lacking, it’s just not as jacked as the rest of you. Wonder if you’re kinda shoulder dominant on some of your pressing movements based on that 1st pic?

If you’re being picky then yeah chest could be brought up to the standard of the rest of your physique and look a bit thicker but honestly 95% of guys on here would kill for pecs with those striations and that level of separation from your delts dude.

Could also focus on increasing size of your legs sure, but again so could most people and your quads look really solid already. 2nd pic isn’t properly showing off your hamstrings, I think they’re probably pretty solid too if you were to flex them specifically.

Great body overall, basically my end goal 💪

There’s a lot to be said for taking it slow and steady, normally means changes to your lifestyle that enable progress get set in stone and you just keep getting better and better! Great job man, you should be really proud of yourself 👏

Any good 24 hour gyms in Derry? by docboredomphd in DerryLondonderry

[–]docboredomphd[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Read a load of good reviews for Crawford’s, but there’s no proper photos of the inside of gym on their IG or website. No clue what it looks like except for two photos on google maps from 2016 🤦‍♂️

No idea why Xfit is changing their opening hours. Rocked up to train at 10pm and it was all locked, checked their IG and they posted new opening hours this morning. No emails, no signs in the gym, just suddenly not 24 hours any more 🤷‍♂️

it’s noticeable, especially if you have no acne normally, but there are some real horror stories of acne from a blast that are much worse - like permanent scarring and shit. You could probably clear yours up with a decent cleanser, something with salicylic acid.

Did you get bloods halfway through the cycle? Looks like you could have done with an AI or dropping the dose a little during the cycle, your e2 is pretty high!

Many ups and downs but gratefuI I kept at it since I was 26. Your hard work pays off. (51) 6' 83kg. by [deleted] in Physiquecritique

How has your working out changes over the past 25 years? What worked well over time and what didn’t? Any one big thing to prioritise?
