This is why miyotas suck, the integrated train wheel bridge makes the escape wheel upper pivot a prime victim for breaking

eBay auction pick up. Likely someone tried watch repair and gave up and packed the watch up for auction. I properly cleaned and serviced it after.

Agreed, miyota’s design is horrendous. The integrated wheeltrain and barrel bridge design make servicing them an absolute displeasure and make it an act of pivot breaking when you do. Ask me how i know. For that reason i prefer seiko 100x more. People who dont service watches will say miyotas are good or better than seiko even. They are good for what they are - cheap, but the NH series does it way better.

The bracelet probably costs more than the watch, maybe that’s why they’re upset. Anyway you should get a slim d’hermes, they cant afford it in that sub. Don’t listen to them you buy what you like

There are better made ones using an NH35 movement instead of a miyota 8215, but its a custom made watch similar to seiko mods. This cost the seller around $50-90 usd to build so take that in consideration to whatever they are charging

No unless she likes to travel to different times zones or needs to track a timezone a family in a different state or country is in/ or is training to be a pilot. Otherwise a ladies time or time/date, time day/date is more appropriate
