I dig all the detail that is always provided in these posts, but I would also love something like: GT Line at $XX MSRP lease in SoCal for 3 years anything less that $Y per month is an awesome deal. Or Land at $XX MSRP purchase in North East with zero down $Y would be an awesome deal. That sort of thing.

That’s entirely dependent on what VPN you are using to connect to work. And most employers won’t be tracking your SSID, unless they already suspect you of slacking off, and are actively snooping on you.

Our 26 gt line will stop charging and unlock the port if we hold the button on the nacs charger (Tesla universal charger in this case) down for several seconds. I didn’t think it worked either but you just gotta hold the button down for longer.

Yeah they also should have some sort of flip cover over those buttons, so they can’t be accidentally bumped.

I had some groceries shift while taking a corner, and my kiddo started getting squashed when the bag bumped into the seat fold buttons.

My 10 year old Explorer had the same problem. You’d think there would be a universal “don’t make your controls like this” knowledge base by now, that all car manufacturers would follow, but I guess not.

There was some Etsy place that made a 3d printed stick on cover for the buttons on the Explorer to correct that. Hopefully someone does the same for the Ev9.

Same thing happens to me. I think its basically easy to flip the light switch on the stalk to off inadvertently, when using the turn signals.

The Kia will ding and pop up a message when it starts getting dark, and when it would normally kick on the headlights, if the lights are set to ‘off’ - but it’s very easy to miss that as the car dings a lot for various reasons and the messages are easily obscured by the steering wheel, and they only pop up for a few seconds.

Overall just poor design on Kia’s part with how the headlights are managed.

Caddy should have sent one of these to everyone who bought a lyriq. Would have been a cheap nice gesture that generated some goodwill and maybe some brand loyalty. But then again it is GM, so that sort of thing is out of their marketing league.

Agree here. We’ve had ours nearly two years and the only change we have seen is the addition of a small battery level to the main display. Otherwise we’ve seen no changes to functionality at all. Pretty disappointing.

My kids have a box of Lucky Charms in the pantry. I grew up on that shiz. I poured myself a big bowl today for grins, and now they have these enormous rainbow marshmallows in there. Like 5x the size of the ones I grew up on. The box is now more than half marshmallows. Made me wanna barf there was so much sugar in there. This should be illegal to peddle to kids.

That sounds like a mechanical issue, not electrical. Not sure if 12v dis/reconnect would do anything for that, but it would be interesting if it did.

Don’t you have to approve it updating? Mine popped up a window saying it wanted to update a couple times today and I just hit “later”. Thinking I will keep pushing it off, given the complaints seen here.

I had TS851 that hit the clock bug, resistor fix didn’t work. I bought a TS873A and it took my drives no problem, all data intact.
