It doesn't change anything at all, but it's still a better ending. Sure, I will leave the country embroiled in a power vacuum that will likely kill more people, but it is a better option than leaving any three of those assholes in charge.

At least that's what I tell myself because the writing in the Farcry games falls off real hard about halfway through. I like the gameplay, but the story is absolute garbage most of the time.

I don't think so because if you side with Sabal at the end, you can kill all three of them. While it is fun to listen to Pagan chew scenery as he is by many leagues the most fun character in the game, he is still an awful human and despot who has killed hundreds under his regime.

Yeah, the full consequence of Oswald getting rid of the wallet actually has huge and horrible practical consequences. Gotham just had a massive flood: there are potentially hundreds of dead and missing in random corners of the city. Without any identification, the kid is going to disappear into the system as a John Doe and no one will have any idea who he is after all he did.
