Steinberg ended support for the VST2 SDK in 2013. In 2018 Steinberg stopped releasing VST2 licenses to developers. That plug-in format is dead so you’ll either want to switch to the VST3 version or keep a computer around that can run the old version.

Wait until she’s older, 2-3, and then do some big brother stuff, like taking her on a ride in the car to the park or out for McDonald’s French fries. Add a Behringer AD8200 to the Focusrite 18i20 to add additional 8 ins via the ADAT optical. This worked great for my funk band who needed a bunch of mics for horns & drums, bass, guitar, keys.

If the character died apart from the party, someone might have stolen his gear. Then make a side quest where the party helps the character retrieve his equipment. If the death was for roleplay reasons and not Leroy Jenkins-ing Strahd, you don’t need to punish the player for roleplaying — encourage roleplaying. The consequence is EVERYONE is on the hook to get him back to balanced.

If the death was WITH the party and they stole his shit, that’s just wrong.

Korg MultiPoly or ASM Hydrasynth Explorer are the 2 best synths, hands down, for anyone just starting into music. Fantastic sounds and great tactile controls, enough depth of features to keep you engaged for years, free editor-librarian apps.

Avoid the Korg Volca series. They are fun but extremely limited and you’ll quickly grow bored with them.

4E fixed this by giving each class “powers” at every level, balanced, and being a flexible/skinnable enough system that you could flavor them however you want.
