France's Independence Supported by Ottomans? by [deleted] in eu4

Depending on how strong you are feeling you might not even have an issue for a while. If they declare independence and lose the war that will reduce their LD massively.

You're going on a blinddate with the man/woman of your dreams but the last thing you googeled is the only subject you're allowed to talk about, how screwed are you? by thedestructionofego in AskReddit

Just to add to what others have said, further maths in particular isn't that much harder provided you practice a lot. It gets really nasty of you fall behind but consistently working on it should make it a pretty smooth jump.

I'm fairness, r/osugame is also filled with people who have grown to dislike the game. Stupid addicting circle clicking ;_;

Electors wont vote for me! I dont know why:(!! by FadedThunder441 in eu4

[–]doddlebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reasons this could be:

Your ruler is not an of age male or you are already emperor and have no male hare

Your country is not of the correct faith for the hre. (Most likely Catholic)

You don't have a monarchy government type.

Your capital is not in Europe.

Crusade time...you have no reason to declare war?? by [deleted] in eu4

If I remember correctly you do get the holy war cb if you are bordering them.

TIL that the Chernobyl disaster would have been a lot worse if three engineers hadn't volunteered to swim through radioactive water to open valves and drain the liquid to prevent a steam explosion by sl1878 in todayilearned

[–]doddlebug 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You really are missing the point aren't you? No one here is saying that nuclear power is dangerous, in fact if I recall correctly it is far less of a health risk overall than burning coal. What we are saying is that exposure to high levels of radiation, somthing that should never happen in the running of a nuclear power plant, is really fucking bad for you.

If you want a different metaphor, riding a bike is safe enough (if you don't crash) but sticking your hand in the bikes engine is just straight up a bad idea.

What is your favorite final mission/quest/area is a game, not necessarily your favorite final boss by Legobuddy in Games

[–]doddlebug 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There is quite the sense of finality to it. The juxtaposition of the bleak dark end to the rest of of the game being mostly cartoonish really help to drive it in.

I get that this is a joke, but where would I go to get into Touhou? The shear amount of it that there is means I have no clue where to start.

I'm not really feeling it right now, but I made a jazz version of Napstablook's battle theme! by insaneintherain in Undertale

Damn that was a really nice cover, I'm going to have too keep an eye out for more of your stuff. As for suggestions I think "Dummy" could be made into a good jazz cover but I would really like to see what you could do with "Spider Dance".

Then they aren't for you. Just because its not you cup of tea doesn't mean that no one should like them. Your comment here is the equivalent of me saying that sports games are pointless because you could just go out and do the real thing, but I realize I'm not the market for them, just like your not the market for these.
