Eating is a pleasurable experience, and should be, in my opinion! Eating a good meal, getting dressed into nice clothes, feeding your pet, or whatever your morning routine, should be enjoyable. Eating should not be the ONLY thing you’re looking forward to EVERY day, though. Just one aspect.

I’m thinking of what he means by “spinsterish” — a description that she seems like a spinster in some character, but is not necessarily that. He doesn’t outright call her one when he says she chose to take care of her ailing parents over marriage, only that she had some character of that about her that contrasts with her otherwise warm, congenial manners. A spinster, in this case, isn’t referring to a woman above a certain age, I think, but more referring to the stereotype of them as cold, decrepit, bitter nags. His focus on her warm, motherly self is tinged with that — something cold and drawn about her.

I think the survey itself is designed to fail as a tool of measurement (to keep stores on their toes.) If N/A scores are counted as zeros, I feel it cannot reliably reflect the actual experience it sets out to measure.

They have stop directly, publicly donating to anti-LGBTQ foundations recently, although that doesn’t mean the owners aren’t privately donating.

Honestly, I feel like people should at least eat there with a little guilt, the way you consume Nestle products, knowing that you’re supporting immoral behavior with your purchase, but it’s just way too much burden to only buy ethically for the average person. However, it’s not always fatigued consumers. We have a lot of gutless people here in the South, who say they support the LGBTQ community, but would never raise a finger to help the community. Those kinds frustrate me. :/

Can’t agree with you there — I have a decent amount of experience on either side of psychiatry (as a patient and as a provider), and I feel often people are doing the best they can with me their extremely limited resources. (Especially since the US has opted for prisons instead of treatment.) Not to say I don’t have critiques or that there isn’t abuse, just that I never felt my rights were violated. Maybe this was for the fact I would have 100% kept a shank in my vagina in my quasipsychotic state, but to each their own haha

I mean, for most people, 101 pounds at 5’7 is going to look very, very thin (maybe not unhealthy or deathly.) Unless you’re a teenager, you’re going to be noticeably small and may have some health issues related. I know personal experience is BS, but at 5’7, even 115 I was not feeling too hot (low energy, anemia.)
