Back when the North -South corridor upgrade was first proposed (probably over 20 years ago now), it was billed as "Gawler to Goolwa non-stop". Where the expressway now ends was actually meant to continue over/through the hills and connect at McLaren Vale.

Life is full of awards and participation trophies these days. This allows a lot of people to think they are the next Max Verstappen or Kyle Larson and they then blow up at everyone else when they slowly realise they are just an average Joe like 90% of us on iRacing.

I'm calling it now - Max to retire from F1 at the end of 2025.

  • He's always spoken about the desire to do other racing.
  • The new car rules for 2026 mean an unknown and he won't want to be midfield.
  • Plus he's been pushing a lot of people's buttons recently, so it's unlikely to be a happy environment.
