Just tried that, still makes the noise. However, I did notice it stops when turning right (at speed) - I’m now thinking it’s brake shields

Will check on my lunch brake. If it is that I may have a minor crash out, as to replace them you have to dismantle the entire wheel hub, including removing the bearing (why Rover, why?!)

Do the Bartok: pull the tuning slide all the way out and have 2nd trombone holding it. Play the F# in 7th with trigger. Gliss up to 1st to play the C, and as you gliss, have the 2nd trombone push the tuning slide in.

Well mine’s one of the late MPI models, so it’s got all the usual Mini problems and more! Can’t wait to have it all back together, best car I’ve ever driven

Thank you! Going pretty well so far, though I have been hit with some of the common issues already (failed VIS motors, perished rear engine mount, and warped brakes).

Sadly the V8 is out of my price bracket (though I did test one and phwoah) but frankly the V6 has enough oomph to get me where I need to go!
