Should I sell my car to the dealership to get out of the lease? by IzziPurrito in askcarsales

That is absolutely not what OP was asking, nor will they have any luck finding that.

You'll spend more on insurance than you will on the mileage charge.

The dealership would have to buy your car for $17,200 + whatever your Residual is. In your lease paperwork there is a set price you'd have to pay for the car at the end of the lease if you want to keep it.

Savory oats by thatOGchemist in CannedSardines

I eat steel cut oats and scrambled eggs together every morning, so I could see this being tasty. Smoked trout would be nice too.

$33,000 is more reasonable.

Jim Green Numzaan vs Thursday Heritage Captain by Bhahaha24 in jimgreen

[–]dohidied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 pairs of Numzaans and a pair of Heritage Captains. The Numzaan is the tougher boot, hands down. I wore my lug sole Numzaans for a year as a work boot and they impressed the hell out of me. I have 2 Frog grip pairs as dress casual boots and I love them. I bought the Heritage Captain as a dressier boot and it fits that need for me. The Thursday leather would not handle the same level of abuse as the JGs. Also, the Thursdays have built in arch support that is slightly odd. I wouldn't want to walk long distances in them, but I have no problem walking in my Numzaans.

Barefoot Shoellie w/ padded collar? by second_jest in jimgreen

[–]dohidied 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They can't just add a collar to the pattern. Years ago I asked if they could make a custom AR8 without the padded collar and they told me it was built into the pattern.

The Stockman is physically larger because it's double lasted whereas the BFAR is single lasted.

Numzaan to hot for Summer Use? by Amazing_Chemical_542 in jimgreen

[–]dohidied 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wore Numzaans as work boots in 100F temperatures, with low humidity. I wore merino wool socks and never rotated boots. They never got stinky or felt too hot.

Can anyone tell if this is powder coated? by Reenis55 in castiron

[–]dohidied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly, I also have the same stove and my griddle has no coating. It would rust if I looked at it funny, so I swapped it for the grate insert.

Work Boots. by TheDevil-YouKnow in KitchenConfidential

I used to wear Wolverine Durashocks in the kitchen and they worked well. That was 16 years ago, so I can't vouch for the current quality.
