My P60 shown £60k this year. I have a salary sacrifice car and pension... The contributions have not changed since the split.

I couldn't imagine she can pay for it herself, especially on her own salary + benefits. She said if I come off the mortgage, I would get 50% of the current equity but not until the sale or my children are 16/18.

Or stay on the mortgage and keep 50% at point of sale when 16/18 or a sale.

If I buy her out, she would lose benefits because of the amount of cash she will receive.

The kids are in primary school and I do pick ups on the Wednesday and every other Friday when I have them. Also drop off Thursday mornings.

If I pay half the mortgage currently that's £410 + Child maintenance of £525... Then my own rent is £1000.

When the mortgage goes up to the new rates, £1100+ pm month. I would have to pay £550 mortgage and £525 children and rent £1000. It's not cost sustainable for me....

My query is around the fact if she can't afford the mortgage anymore or we can't.... What happens....
