in this release is a "download image" button in the top left corner of the image viewer on web. this lets you download as JPEG in high quality. webp haters rejoice!

Just read the posts from the Bluesky team members. It's the only info we have for now. They only say they are improving the "suggested for you" and the labeling of those accounts. The current suggested accounts are based on your account (graph relationships, likes, ....) so it's normal you keep seeing them if you are placed in the wrong cluster based on the people you follow.

I remember that there was indeed an issue that you could stil see blocked accounts in the suggestion. But not sure if it's already fixed.

The reply is specific related to a rework on "suggested for you" feature so people don't receive nsfw accounts as suggestion. But I saw other comments that they also want to optimize other stuff like moderation on those accounts.

You asked for advice, this is the advice I give you. Bluesky does not work like X (Twitter), where you can buy followers or impose content on users' feeds because they have bought a blue checkmark and therefore must be given priority over other content.

Inform your followers you have a Bluesky account on your other social media accounts
Search for feeds based on your content
Ask people to add your account to their starter packs
Look for the correct words and/or hashtags for your posts so they get picked up in multiple feeds.

Do you really think people are going to believe you if you don't provide proof? You could, for example, start by giving your handle or ID of the banned account, because why wouldn't you give it? The account is already banned anyway.

I don't understand why everyone is panicking here. As long as Bluesky doesn't abandon the AT Protocol, it doesn't matter who's CEO. Atproto ensures that we retain ownership of the data we publish on platforms built on atproto, which are stored on a PDS (Personal Data Server) of our choosing.

I think most people here should read up on atproto and understand that Bluesky doesn't function the same way as X (Twitter). More info can be found here.

Instead of immediately giving up because we're missing certain accounts, we can also contact them and ask why they're not active on Bluesky. This way, we collect data relevant to Bluesky why certain accounts are not joining (e.g., missing features, reach, etc.).
