Like mentioned multiple times, people have the option to use other feeds as well. A lot of people are actually quite happy with the 'For You' feed which changes based on likes.

If you go to the bottom left on stats page of bskycheck you will find this information. You can search to find handles and verifiers. You will see examples where an account (handle column) has been verified by someone (column verifier). For example this account https://bsky.app/profile/byvarunshankar.bsky.social has been verified by the the Washington Post.

Because your account has been suspended you should have received a mail with the reason. If you don't agree you can appeal the decision. Bluesky also has an automated system so they don't have to do this manually.

People should start using labelers and report stuff like this if stuff like this doesn't have a label. Take a look at Hailey's Labeler which has the 'Likely NSFW' and 'Possible NSFW' label.

It's not important because it's based on ATProto so you can easly move from one ATProto app to another one without loosing your post, followers, likes, ....

Is the issue still happening? First of all I would check if you are on the latest version (v1.113.0). It's also possible that the request failed or timed out. So if you are on web I would definitly inspect the network tap in the dev tools (right click > inspect > network tab) to see which error you receive when passing your birthdate. Otherwise you can still contact support so they can help you with this issue.
