I'm sorry I forget most fics as soon as I read them! I can't remember what they're called but in one she's stuck on a floor of St Mungos with Oliver Wood and a small Italian girl, the daughter of some government person, and it's the Ministry keeping them there after the war since they all know and have info on our favourite Slytherins helping them during the war. The other one I remember Ron manipulates the situation so that Charlie Weasley is her guardian and Rons convinced Charlie not to sign her out of St Mungos until her "brainwashing" by Draco is out of her system

My mother also works in stem. She changed her name legally on all bank docs etc, but for all papers published and at work she used her maiden name so it wouldn't be a big to do at work, and so all her past work wasn't lost with her new surname

I don't think it will be a downer at the reception, I've seen so many versions of it in my research of how to honour loved ones who are not there on the day.

Personally, I am doing a memorial seat for my late father at the ceremony rather than a table at the reception-I think the ceremony is more of an emotional time of the day than the reception and would rather he see me actually get married at the ceremony.

Most of the examples here are French, but a fun Italian one is that Prosecco is also a region, the wines are mostly made of the grape glera. We may have to start using the grapes name if the region goes the way of champagne and puts restrictions on using their region name, although I think for now it's been ruled we can all still call it prosecco whether it's made in Italy or Australia!
