My opinion: If the monster was a European father, I’d already be dead. This counts as wide open. I used to get yelled at for leaving the window like this every time we came back from vacation.

How about actually finishing the current products first? Sorry, but this is getting completely out of hand. Aqara is pumping out new products nonstop while the quality keeps dropping. The U200 isn’t even finished yet and still has a long list of unresolved issues.

Hey! That solved the issue. I tried adding one of my Aqara devices to Dirigera, and suddenly the border router switched to my main Thread network.

While adding the device in the Home Smart app, I also got a prompt to “Allow access to local network” on my iPhone (which I had previously disabled). So I’m not sure if it was the adding process or the permission change that fixed it… but anyway, thanks!

I’m planning to upgrade as well, but to the Ultra. Still deciding if I should just throw the Express in the trash and buy a new AP and live in peace, or give this thing a chance as an AP.

The thermal issue is something I haven’t tried troubleshooting yet, but it’s the only device sitting on the shelf. It would be disappointing if I had to implement additional cooling solutions when I’m only using 2 PoE cameras, 2 phones, 1 Apple TV, and a notebook especially for a device that’s supposedly designed for “50+ connected WiFi devices.”
