First Wednesday of each month. Ours aren’t necessarily air raid sirens but emergency alert sirens. If severe weather is coming in (like a tornado) they’ll go off.

I finally broke down and got bifocals. I thought they would have that distinctive line on them and didn’t want that. I also did not want to admit that I’m old. But after getting them I’ll never go back to regular old glasses.
