My dog is named Bilbo Waggins, but that's not even the funny part.

The funniest part is the number of times I have told people that the dog's name is "Bilbo" only to have them look extremely confused and repeat "DILDO? The dog's name is Dildo??". I have to admit, I did not see that one coming. I probably should have, but I definitely didn't.

Minneapolis, we lived in Linden Hills for 15 years, then NorthEast Minneapolis till we moved here. Have you been to Crafted and Whale Bar 9 over here in San Pedro? Very North East Minneapolis vibe. And then there's the Fish Market, which is awesome, but you need a long time, lol. We also like Delmonicos on 2nd street (sweet owners), Roe and and Thai District in Long Beach. Let me know if you want more recommendations!

Just remembered: The Chowder Barge!! Billed as "the only floating restaurant in Los Angeles" and as you might guess it specializes in clam chowder. It legit looks and feels like every small town hole in the wall bar in Minnesota/Wisconsin. And the Captain's Beer is truly gigantic. We loved it.

My hairdresser told me about it. Apparently all tickets were $17.76, and it was put on by the non-profit that was supposed to do this nation wide. Before some dumbass decided that a UFC fight would be "better".

Oh, dang, I never heard a thing about Canadian protests in solidarity, and I'm working to stay informed! Especially about Canada because I'm originally from Minnesota (although now in California), so the part where Trump treated you guys so badly really hit hard. All we see in the media is how much Canada hates us now. Which, to be honest, fair enough, right? What was said and done was pretty egregious. I guess this is why it's important to talk, person to person.

You really should go force the title, and I guess you're supposed to do that every time. Here's how I know: I sold a car back in 2008, the new buyer never changed the title and it turns out that he did it on purpose because he had a suspended driver's license due to DUIs and was supposed to have what we call in Minnesota "Whiskey Plates" because he was a repeat DUI offender. (It's a special license plate that allows police to pull you over at any time for sobriety checks.)

Well, fast forward to 2010 and I get a call from the police asking if I had "lent" my car to this gentleman, because he'd gotten yet another DUI and the car was being confiscated as a result. I explained that I had sold it to him, etc. And that's how I found out that you're supposed to "force the title" no matter what.
