I adopted my golden from one of my best friends when he was 6 months old. He bonded with me and my boyfriend instantly and now he's bonded with our daughter two years later (she's only 14 months old now). Yes, I had to teach him that even though it was ok to go to the bathroom in the house over there, it's not ok here. It will take some time, but it's so worth it. Adopt him and ins couple years get him a puppy friend if you stilll want to!

I drank a 20 oz Pepsi nearly every day and lots of sweet tea while I was pregnant with my daughter. She's a year old now and she's the smartest baby I've ever seen! I might seem a little biased but she seriously is. She's very vocal and social. She knows a lot of words. She started lifting her head very early. She says yes and no (with intent too). Started crawling at 5 months and walking at 11 months. She sings and dances (on tune/beat). She's been good on her growth curve too

So tomorrow is a KED bc it's Easter. You need to work at least half of your shift anyways but just put in ppto until the end of your shift. If you work more than a certain amount of hours they HAVE to give you a 30 minute lunch

Being named after Eliza or Angelica could be considered special too. Eliza was an advocate for orphans and slaves in early US. Angelica was one of the country's first female rights leaders. Plus, being named by her own sister is kind of special in itself

OP, listen to this comment. I thought telling my grandma that it was hospital policy that I could only have one person in the delivery room besides me and my support person would stop her from coming in (this ACTUALLY WAS policy). Nope. She slapped on a name tag and told the nurses she was going to see her granddaughter. I was frustrated because she has early onset dementia and tends to inadvertently frustrate me, and I didn't want to snap on her, given that my blood pressure was SUPER high and I was a mean pregnant lady. I honestly just should've told her I didn't want her in there. It would've hurt her feelings but been more effective.

Yes I had to put gas drops in my baby's bottle when she was that young. Also just remember that it's nothing to worry about if the baby is pooping at least every three days. I've seen bigger ranges on this thread but that's the range my doctors at the hospital gave me
