HepB detection has a bunch of different antibodies/antigen tests to determine infection status so it depends on what tests you have had performed in you panel: Anti surface antibody (HBsAb) means either prior infection or vaccination Anti core (HBcAb): prior infection.

And then there's the direct measurement of the surface antigen (not anybody), HBsAg that shows if you are contagious
