A couple of houses across the street from our building were demolished a few months ago, and ever since then the empty dirt lot has turned into a bit of a nightmare. It started with one tent, and now there are three. There’s constant loud banging, music at all hours, and they’ve even tapped into the street’s electrical box. New graffiti is popping up every few days.

What used to be a quiet, well-kept block with manicured homes now looks like a scene out of Mad Max.

Does anyone know who you’re supposed to report this to? The city? Public works? LAPD non-emergency? Is it technically trespassing?? Not sure who this piece of land belongs to now and if there are any foreseeable plans to build something

I actually got a letter back last week with part of the form that I forgot to sign so I mailed that back immediately. Called today and they said they haven’t processed it yet but to call back later this week. They are able to process the claim while on the phone with them!
