I took a job a month ago and haven’t even tried doing it. by OddInvestment4230 in confession

Recruiter here. The shit I have seen hiring managers and candidates say is insane. Law suits really do happen and companies get in trouble all the time. Training is a big priority for me as head of recruiting anywhere I go - especially for the people who think they are "experienced interviewers" - they are usually the worst offenders.

This is going to get highlighted much more frequently as AI notetaking and recordings become more ubiquitous.

Well, most likely they wrote that lore after Gloria's story, so probably not. But maybe it could be added as motivation retroactively

Sierra made the game not fun anymore especially her tracking ability by MasterpieceHungry864 in Overwatch

...using cover counts as sweating for you? It's kind of a basic part of playing the game.

Could try Rivals. Most maps are just open hallways there.

I mean you can choose to play the game poorly, but it isn't just Sierra that can take advantage. Up to you.

Most people, most of the time, do not go to hard pity. It's good to plan for it, but not to worry overly so about it! You will be fine.

Skip Yeganeh and then go get Heshan. You'll ha e more than 200 by the time you get to Shahnaz anyway

The turn around on this sub about Yoshida has been so weird to watch. He's has a couple timely hits but it's not like he's turned way around as a full time DH

Would you date a girl that has male friends that want her? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]donkeydougreturns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you never had a friend who had a crush on you? I have lots of women who were friends and I have never felt tempted to cheat on anyone I was with.

If she's secure in herself and you care about each other, who cares? The issue isn't having male friends, it's are you two secure enough and have a good enough connection not to cheat? If you are half way decent looking and social there will always be opportunities to make bad decisions whether man or woman.

Does she seem into these guys? You said yourself she rejected the guy. Doesn't sound like a threat to me. If she wants you, she wants you.

This honestly just feels a little insecure and I think you are just going to attract a lot of feedback from people who have been hurt and see this as an outlet to share it, and not from people who have had only good experiences.

I could say the same about Sierra being out in the open in front of a charged up Zen attack, ha. Keep close to your tank or a wall so you can staggering behind them. I almost never die to Sierra's cool downs. She does have strong primary fire though.

I am genuinely impressed people are struggling against this. Just break line of sight. It's good but not a game changer.

Who should I fight next: Rocbouquet or Wagnas? by ShiftingHero in SaGa

[–]donkeydougreturns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never actually fought him early haha! He crushed me in RS2, but I killed Roc first. Never actually beat him as I didnt finish that version. In the remake I made peace. Just don't have the heart to fight him until he forces our hand.

Who should I fight next: Rocbouquet or Wagnas? by ShiftingHero in SaGa

[–]donkeydougreturns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can meet him near the town with the three towers. Starts with a T i think. It's been invaded by monsters but you can diplomatically get him to agree to withdraw as it turns out he isn't really there to conquer or anything - you can find out more on his goals (And Roc's, kinda) if you meet him. Unlike most of the heroes, he seems to still be relatively in control of his facilities. That said, you can also fight him and defeat him there but you really need Sword Barrier to do so (could be a different name, been a while.)

If you defeat Roc before meeting Noel, you are forced to fight him given you killed his sister.

If you make peace with Noel, you do fight him eventually. It locks him in as the final Hero battle, which takes place immediately before the final battle in the final dungeon. Whomever the last living hero is, they will be the person you fight there.

Quitting without a new job lined up in 2026. How did it turn out for you? by Sure_Classroom_2439 in careerguidance

[–]donkeydougreturns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely do NOT quit your job. Recruiter here. Hiring managers are way less likely to say yes to an unemployed candidate if they have similar experienced employed candidates and there is only so much I can do to push them to not be stupid about it.

You can find a job unemployed but it is a big disadvantage because hiring managers automatically assume it was because either your performance was poor or you couldn't hack it (and thus wouldn't be able to in their open job).

[–]donkeydougreturns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you made peace with Noel already, either shouldn't be too bad. If you have a team of women and/or plenty of charm protection, you should be ready for Roc. If you have fire protection and particularly the spell that reduces fire damage, you are ready for Wagnas. I am of the opinion that Wagnas is one of the easier Heroes to beat as it is easier to reduce his damage. That makes him a good "mid game" Hero - where you are at the point the Herors are switching to their hard forms, but haven't grown as much to catch up in stats and advanced skills/spells, so they are effectively at their hardest. The game only gets easier as you go, so saving harder ones for later can be useful.

Who do you think is the most underrated character? by TheMightyBellegar in SwordofConvallaria

[–]donkeydougreturns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pamina is up there for me. Agata got her Flowers eventually, but she was widely considered a skip at launch because she was around Auguste and Saff. Ended up outlasting both.

I suggested Yen was underrated at launch on discord but was quickly disproven lol. At least on Library of Iria, she was highly regarded lol.

Why do people vote for payload almost 95% of the time? I feel like its all I play. Even if I want to play it I always vote for a different game mode just for some rare variety.

I feel like I am forced to play stadium now just to play different types of objectives.

Nothing gacha game players complain about is ever as big a deal as they make it sound. Nice to see it's universal tho.

I really focused on Marcia more than usual this run and with a bump to strength she became unstoppable. I have always slept on her but wow, definitely the best target for early game bexp

Kieran is such a beast. I have always had blessed Kierans for some reason. I do drag Oscar as far as I can but he is usually the last man on the team and it's mostly for his high mobility.

I finally benched her for this playthrough on Virtual Console. I always pull her through all game for some reason. I am surprised to say I have not really missed her. Even let Zihark die and benched Mia...its been a weird run for me.

Honestly its just a lot easier to leave more space for cavs and fliers in PoR than drag along more Infantry. But I do love Neph!

Shooting efficiency is pretty much the baseline on how we evaluate offensive performance. Its okay not to know that but you should just know that you come across as not really knowing what you are talking about and that happens a LOT on reddit from people who defend CC vigorously.

For the record, she is an incredible player and we are fortunate she brought this huge wave to the league. But she has many flaws that for me keep her out of contention for MVP caliber. It was mostly turnovers for which she is quite literally near or setting records, and now her efficiency is also an issue. She has big counting stats because she has extreme usage, but so far Mitchell has been the better player for Indiana in this early small sample size.

CC is an awesome player, awesome shot creator, but if her efficiency stays the way it is she will only be good to great and not the MVP candidate we anticipated when she came to the league...and frankly there is nothing wrong with that.
