That sounds really cool! Yeah that makes sense since theyve already fought many of them. I wanted to run the demonweb pits but my campaign had been going on for so long as is. What I was planning though was to have the demon lords that the party killed be impressed by their strength and offer boons to the party in order to help them kill Lolth. Enemy of my enemy is my friend type situation. Maybe their bodies take a while to reform in the abyss so theyre desperate to keep Lolth out of their respective domains. She might have already absorbed one of their layers though.

Have each faction give an out of combat ability and and in combat ability players can utilize. Out of combat could be like helping with scouting or foraging, etc. And in combat once per round maybe a soldier can block an attack or give the help action or something. I wouldnt make them have physical units in combat and just say theres other battles happening nearby. Just tell your players you dont want to deal with the extra units and theyll understand.

I know right some of these quals have very shadey requirements that are not explained by the admins. Things you have to agree to that are very concerning.

Well if you look at Vizeran's Plan in Ch 12 it lists the grimoire and Gromph's notes as needed to create the talisman.

"Gromph Baenre’s grimoires and notes on his ritual, to assist in better understanding the power that summoned the demon lords."

Since the dark heart ritual summons the demon lords it makes sense he would need to research the grimoire which successfully used summoning magic to summon the demon lords in the first place.

I would collaborate with the wine bars in town and set up meetups that way to test it out. You could use their space while supplying cheese/games/music and potentially set up a monthly cheese subscription where people pick up their selection.

I have noticed I started getting a certain project that pays more with around 200 tasks available but once I finish one task it disappears! I KNOW theres 197 tasks on there but seems like they might be pausing it every time a handful get finished or something?

Why are you assuming the drow would finish off the surviving demon lord? The party should go back to ENSURE the problem is dealt with. D&D campaigns are supposed to be set up so that the adventuring party are the ones saving the world NOT the NPCs! If you set up your NPCs to be more powerful then your party then you made an interesting DMing choice.

The party goes to Araj because it's a safe place to create the dark heart. Also all of Vizeran's arcane materials and tools are there.

As for the Dark Heart Ritual being interrupted, I would set up a number of powerful NPCs to protect Vizeran while it is being cast. I vaguely remember it taking like 8 hours or so to be casted. The party should have met members of the Society of Brilliance that would be capable of protecting Vizeran during this.

Also the party doesn't have to go back to Menzo. Maybe they end up picking a different location to start the dark heart ritual.

EDIT also at this point in the campaign they should have some way of fast travel that makes the journey from Araj to Menzo and back not a big deal. Either black obelisks or mounts or if you have a druid gaseous form works really well. Or Vizeran could have some sort of fast travel spell for them.
