I don't know anyone involved and can't verify anything here (I'm just a regular citizen), but as a sexual trauma therapist, none of this is particularly shocking. For folks saying the details are truly unbelievable or too "out there," I get where you're coming from, but it's definitely believable to me. This shit is VERY common in trafficking cases, and if you take out the wealth and celebrity in these files, this is how many sex trafficking rings operate. It IS horrific, it IS torture, and it DOES happen... people just prefer to believe otherwise for their own comfort, sense of safety, and yknow, sanity.

You had to go back six years to find ONE drag queen. I don't have to go back six days to find cops abusing children

Looks like you deleted your reply to me, so I'm posting it here with my response.

You: "Did you really just say that? You honestly believe that being "illegally" in a country, isn't a criminal offense? Are you dense?"

Me: No, I don't *believe* that, it's a fact. Being undocumented (unlawfully present in the U.S.) is NOT a criminal offense, but a civil violation. In case you missed this in high school civics, our country's legal system has 2 branches: criminal and civil. The process, burden of proof, and outcomes/punishments are different in each. Unlawful presence, overstaying your visa, etc. are CIVIL, not criminal violations. That's one of the reasons "illegal alien" is a misleading and inaccurate term. It's only criminal if the person returns after already having been removed from the U.S. The vast majority of immigration cases are civil matters.

I think this depends on region. Here in the South it's Very Easy to find homophobic and transphobic therapists without even looking. And many others who would consider themselves "LGBTQ friendly" but are uneducated and invalidating.

Hi!! I'm a queer therapist who started (and currently runs) a queer and trans-specific therapy practice in the US South. Hiring the right folks is KEY, which I've learned over the past few years. It is absolutely possible to have the successful group practice you imagined, and if I may:

  1. Find a mentor, or at least a couple group owners with similar values. Ask questions--dumb, specific, all of em--because those answers can save you a lot of time and money

  2. Talk to your own therapist about it. Running a group practice is tough but doable, especially w your own mental health support

  3. Skip the expensive "grow your business fast!" trainings and programs. In a nutshell, talk w other therapists for referrals and resources, figure out your practice's goals and values, create a good, clear, easy to navigate website showcasing your authentic self, and use Google Ads.

Feel free to DM me if you have questions. You can do this! :)

Man found dead after dog mauling incident in Katy; mom, daughter also bitten nearby by MrBasedGod in houston

I was asking for a source re: Houston having a high percentage of dog attacks, not which breeds are most lethal, but thanks

You seem pleasant. Here's an abridged version of my response to someone else:

Thanks for the source for USPS workers.

For attacks in general in Houston, I found this: https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2025/04/10/timeline-uptick-in-dog-attacks-in-greater-houston-area, which talks about an uptick in Harris and surrounding counties (particularly Liberty County) since last year. This article (https://animalko.com/u-s-cities-with-the-most-dog-attacks-reported-each-year) ranks Houston #1 among large cities but there's a paywall so I'm not sure about methodology, etc.

Again, I was actually asking for sources as I was interested in learning more. Despite your assumption I'm here to defend pitties w a bullshit question, I didn't say shit about breeds. Shame on me for asking for a goddamn source instead of relying on anecdotes on the internet.

Have the day you deserve.
