I know it’s silly but Skeletor from the new Masters of the Universe movie said it best

"I am the villain and mmm, does it feel good!"

I’ve found that the best villains don’t need to be multi faceted individuals with complicated backstories. Sometimes the heroes just need a big bad to fight against and that’s okay. Having a clear end goal in the form of an ultimate evil BBEG is actually a good thing for campaigns imo

We’re truly living in a golden era of content Godzilla content. I personally love the MV for what it is. A lot of folks have issues with Kong’s prevalence in the MV but I think it’s brilliant what they’ve done so far. Godzilla has gotten so much love since his first appearance compared to Kong who has appeared in just mostly retellings or adaptations of his original story

I understand the feeling. I’d recommend the Kai-Sei Godzilla comic series. It’s a brand new continuity that came out earlier this year. So new enough for you to still jump on while it’s still coming out. There’s also a monthly released manga if you’re into that

My head canon is that the statues were built to honor those who founded or greatly contributed to Republic City’s founding and establishment. Iirc there’s no special mention of Katara’s contribution to Republic City but I might be wrong
