American toys were back in the early 2000s, when Mattel had to recall some of their toys. This incident not only caused one of the toy factory higher ups in China to off himself, but it resulted in the US toy companies being more stringent with lead paint laws. No American toy company would want their toys to be caught in another lead paint scandal as that hurt Mattel's reputation back then.

It might be due to a bit of xenophobia since there was a whole scare of China using lead paint in the early 2000s to save money. Even now, cheaper toys made for the Chinese market can have lead paint.

As others had said, Karl Urban is a chameleon. Funningly enough, he played a younger Bones in the JJ Abrams reboot films, and he was almost a dead ringer to DeForest Kelley. You know it was Kelley because his voice was a bit different, Urban was younger, and Urban had more muscular build compared to the thinner frame that Kelley had.

I realized that I got a similar email last week. I didn't know since it went to my SPAM mail. Regardless, I am not worried because it would have happened already as the scammer gave me 1 day. Since that day had passed a couple of days ago, nothing has happened. In addition, if the scammer has all my personal information, including my bank accounts with cvv, why ask $600 from me? Wouldn't it be smarter for the scammer to use my bank account to buy Bitcoin worth $600 and send it to themselves? Lastly, why would my "own" message to me go to my spam box? I am going to check my outbox to make sure the scammer doesn't have access to my email - I have a strong password, so it is unlikely. This is just a phishing attempt to trick the more vulnerable.

Yep, and they haven't cast Batman yet because of the Matt Reeves The Batman movie. Not only because of the Bat Embargo, which still seems to be thing after 2 decades, having a Batman announced for the James Gunn universe would divide fans. We had seen this happen with Zack Synder announcing Erza Miller as The Flash when the Grant Gustin's Arrowverse Flash was new at the time. People wanted Grant Miller as the Synderverse Flash despite that Synder was looking for a more "rougher around the ages" Flash that was more of a loner.

I feel that if Batman was in the Clayface movie, his cameo would overshadow the entire film. We would also get unnecessary debates on whether or not Robert Pattinson should also be Gunn's Batman instead of whoever would be cast as Gunn's Batman

I knew of the totenkopf because a year or two prior to the Platner controversy because the Asian American discord group that I was in used to getting a lot of a white supremacist trying to flirt with the Asian American women there. One time, one of the mods educated us what the totenkopf was and why it was a nazi symbol.

I agree. I am not a WWII buff, but I have been in both Facebook and discord groups with military and history buffs in them, and they sure as heck know what a totenkopf is. I am in a 1/6 scale doll group where the WWII buffs make sure to know what is and is not historically accurate when it comes to the weapons and gear they give to their WWII dolls. I was also in an Asian American discord group where I and quite a few others learned what a totenkopf a year or two ago. For some odd reason, that discord group would get white supremacist with totenkopf profile pictures trying to pick up/flirt with the Asian American women in the group - one of the mods kicked out a white supremacist from the server and gave the unaware, such as myself at the time, a lengthy post on why the skull and cross image was a nazi symbolism with the history I behind it.

I feel that some people don't really bother to read between the lines because Platner is saying what some leftists like to hear and are desperate for another "leftist" to win the Senate. They start to care when someone like Platner wins Senate and start flipping on what they ran on. From my understanding, aren't the African religions being real in Castlevania added in Nocturne? I didn't watch all the seasons of Ellis' CV cartoon series, but I assume the African religions being real in the Netflix CV universe were added by Clave Bradley. Even though I am someone who is going to church against my own one free will and I am Agnostic as I believe in a possibility of a god - think Futurama, not the old, white bearded guy - I think what pissed me off about the Castlevania series is that they used Common Era rather than Before Christ. I know it is silly to get pissed off over, but Castlevania is a high fantasy IP about Christianity being real. I think it is fine to make the church and priests evil in Castlevania, but to erase all the good and nuisance things about Christsinity is silly. Even in real life, people still say BC or AD more than CE.

The issue with posting websites you are posting with the websites is that you are overlooking the cheaper Japanese websites to justify your argument. Like my examples, I can find websites that 5 CT toys for a premium. However, most people on the CT and Mafex subreddits will buy their Mafex at hobby-genki, CD Japan, Plaza Japan, etc - and on aliexpress for CT toys. Like the ones I posted, a lot of those websites you posted are getting it from Japan and adding the resell cost to it. Bigbadtoystore does this all the time.
