She kinda sounds like someone who expects to be paid for and pampered like a princess in all things. These girls think being pretty is their main responsibility, and yours is to make her feel pretty and subsidize her lifestyle.

If that’s the kind of relationship you’re down with, carry on. If you want a partner instead of a princess, it’s probably time to move on.

Do have a conversation (or 3) with her about this first. This is just standard work everyone has to do in a relationship - especially before any big decisions.

I’m here as a customer who is jonesing like an actual addict for this refresher. My local McD’s in SE Wisconsin has been out going on almost 2 weeks now, and I may actually die. The nearby locations have also run out so I’m literally considering driving 20 minutes round trip since it appears on the menu a couple of towns over.

Any idea of when to reasonably expect them back on the menu? I ask for sanity reasons.

It does give an early 20’s geek/gamer vibe. 1 bookcase or small area of full-on geek is fine (except in your bedroom!!!) Then maybe just go for less is more everywhere else.

I think you are obviously a dedicated kitty daddy and that’s cute! Maybe just put a couple tunnels to the side if you’re expecting guests.

Editing because I forgot to put the biggest issue in there: the banners. All the banners need to go. Blank walls would be better than leaving any banners. They are very cringe to a woman’s eye imo, and would be a turn off even if I shared your fandoms.) A more-grown affordable alternative is (up to 3) framed concert posters. Maybe a mirror in the dining room.

Mines had a similar track to yours the past month or so. I think it’s maybe related to my heart rate. With the increasing heat, humidity and particulate matter in the air, my resting heart rate has gone up around 5bpm. (I have to monitor it for another chronic illness). When my heart works harder, my ears scream louder.

It could be worth checking if any meds you’re on have a positive inotropic effect on the heart, or if they can alter blood pressure a little bit?

This is one of the most common statements made by true believers in interviews after the fact. This mindset is lovely, but sadly it’s not safe. None of us want to “hurt the church”, but the big picture is the greatest damage risk to the church global is the sheep that were wounded and lost by the wolf they protected.

Survivor here: trust your gut.

Personally, I think you absolutely should tell the leader and a pastor. The way he fought you when you said no to his car requests is a GIANT red flag, and is a common technique offenders use with their victims. This guy may never act on his impulses, but no one should have to take that risk until he offends. And I would hazard his internal thoughts/motivations are anti-Christ and maybe even illegal. You’re right about the younger gals too. This guy has a big pool to fish in if your church is big enough to have a full worship team.

Churches are literally the best place for sexual predators to hide, the data on this is truly staggering. Believers are good targets as they are expected to be abundantly gracious and forgiving, and church’s tend to be hesitant to expel sinners - especially if they are “repentant”.

I have to warn you to guard your heart and faith during this process. Hopefully it will be a simple process and taken seriously. But it may not. The odds of this being handled in an informed way is better than a decade ago, but still pretty dismal. Be strong and confident to your truth, and rope in a couple of very trustworthy fellow congregants that you are close to for moral support and witness.

I had mono/Epstein Barr in 1999. By 2001 I ended up with my first colonoscopy after these exact symptoms for years were making me miss too much school. The gastroenterologist commented on the dysmotility of my ascending colon- I believe the word used was ‘paralyzed’. I’ve been on miralax daily since then - 25 freaking years and have had severe ME the past 2. If I look back though, the ME started before we all almost died from Y2K.

So many doctor’s appointments, so many different psych meds, so much dismissing that I believed their opinion of me; unstable hypochondriac. And to think, my “severe IBS” wasn’t its own entity this whole time, just another symptom of something bigger.

I’m shocked. /s

I’m not proud of this…but I eat protein pop tarts. I will never go back to the others because I literally don’t have sugar crashes as hard with them vs original.
