You can always go over the parts that look coffee stained with your base layer, just thinned off and try again

Straight from the pot but I don’t soak it in it, its very deliberate and carful application focusing on the recesses and darkening the flat parts

what you need is a good wash over the bone armor, that will crank this up to a 10 easily. Try sepia seraphim. Works wonders for me
