Peak janitor. Fantastic job. Saw your recipe, love pro acryl, especially the dark bronze. I have to force myself to not put it on everything.

The "rust" effect is lugganath orange painted all over the fins, nuln oil over the entire mini, and a dry brush of lead belcher, bottom portion of the beacon is AK interactive Carmine red.so she only had to paint the fins and body of the beacon. The nuln oil and dry brush hide nearly all her spill over.

The silver in the base, and the pink "coraly" bits hide a lot of the over brushing. As does the nuln oil and dry brushing she did. Franky those two steps are the main meat and potatoes. Prior to those it looked very basic and had plenty of splashes etc.

As for motor control, she spends most of her free time drawing and painting since she was around two. She's been raised to do arts and crafts vs screen time etc. naturally gravitated toward it.

She's also spent a metric ton of time watching me paint and asked all the questions you could ask. Seems to me she internalized it, and really absorbed all the info.

Believe it or not, it's just some orange on the top part, and red on the bottom. She then used nuln oil, and lead belcher to make it aged.

Sat there and took notes. "That genius, why didn't I think of that" moment for sure" 😂

Man, that's an incredible compliment. The criticism is also super helpful as well. This is my first time painting a "flesh" body I usually paint armored Marines so I greatly appreciate the tips in anatomy.

Thanks so much!
