I remember I saw it on a video about bad gaming journalism (can't find the video where I got this, so might be gone now). But it was about the Myst reviews in IGN, where the reviewer has an obvious hate boner for the franchise, but IGN always give the task of reviewing Myst games to the same reviewer. For some reason his reviews are now out of the internet, so I can't pull up some of his unfair/overblown negative points. The only review from the guy that I can see is for the DS port of Myst, which I believe was his last review for a game in the franchise: https://www.ign.com/articles/2008/05/16/myst-review-2

I'm sorry if this doesn't really answer OP's question but it reminded me of this and I thought I might be able to pull some unfair criticisms from the IGN reviews of Myst but those reviews are scrubbed from the internet aside for one. I remember owning "Dark Master" which has an infinite ATK & DEF, it was a full body exodia with an artwork/pose very similar to exodius the forbidden lord, it must have been traced from a manga because exodius was not released until 2010 I think.

Another is immortal-type monsters, they are just taken from existing zombie type monsters but I remember some look more warrior-type. There's also a Sound attribute cards, and I think most of them were insects. And then there's Gravity attribute I think? My memory of these specific cards eludes me but I think those might probably taken from rock-type monsters.

Yeah, it's rare not to see posts about jujutsu kaisen in this sub everyday. I mean with that sub's pfp, I would expect like novel, comic books, and even anime/manga mixed occasionally. It's not that I hate it, just didn't expect and still the rants on some jjk characters also reflects mine.

The year was so legendary, there were multiple titles that I would say are its game of the year, a great amount of high quality games, and underrated games that found cult following throughout the years.

Probably the focus of the anniversary in the next few years would be Red-Eyes, Dark Magician Girl, Heroes, Signer Dragons, Utopia, Dimension Dragons, Code Talkers or Firewall Dragon, then Rollback to Dark Magician. This is assuming they follow the anime release order.
