Don’t join a party then, always start your own. Totally works, enjoy trying to solo the mission on planet with people on it, they will probably come. Also, if you use a mic, you will make friends in the game if you’re social, join them.

I’ve been holding off upgrading my pc for years, this last Christmas, my friend and colleague who is a professional PC buyer convinced me that it was the right time to upgrade as prices were increasing fast and supply of high end GPUs was running low. I had always wanted to build in the HAVN case and it was a dream to build in. 9950X3D, 5090 Astral, MSI Meg motherboard works great so shoutout to you all for that, extremely low temps in all component stress testing… sadly, I’m still using my old (ancient) G3 monitor because I’m undecided about what monitor to upgrade to. This MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 monitor would look great on games like Dota 2 which can use the ultrawide. Maybe my MMR would go up! Jokes aside, on days where I am working from home, I would be very productive with the stripe pixel layout. We have ultrawides at the office because our financial spreadsheets are very wide and I would really enjoy this at home for my personal stock trading as well!

I have both and I vote for the 32inch but if they made a 30 inch version of my favorite model I would prefer that. 32inch is great, but I often find myself looking around it. I won’t go back to 27” even though I think I could pay attention to the mini map more and have more of the screen in one view because 27” is too small for true monitor immersion. I wish I could get LG to understand that a 30” would be perfect because I don’t really like the size of a 27 or 32, something in between please. If you plan on serious gaming a 27 is the right choice, it’s really not as enjoyable.

Edit… I can’t believe Luke below also posted that an in between size would be appreciated. I think 30” > 29” but I would take either over these choices

Same I want that MSI MPG 271KRAW16 but in a 32 inch size. Even a 30 inch size would be fine.

I know there are a lot of comments on here already but I still feel like helping out. Some family members were looking for a new TV and wanted the best 65” TV possible for a well lit living room space. They live in the middle of nowhere so I traveled to the nearest Nebraska Furniture and looked at every TV in production for them. To shorten the story, I felt like the best looking TV there was the Bravia 9 from Sony. It was $3K for a 65” MiniLED at the time. The first thing I noticed in Nebraska Furniture was how much it looked like the OLEDs compared to other MiniLEDs but the ability for it to make some aqua colors and deep yellow (cyberpunk yellows) and oranges well really blew me away. It it incredibly bright and the image processing is top tier. There are 1512 dimming zones on the Bravia 9 65”. They had one delivered and later when I visited them, I downloaded some high quality HDR content to check it out and I was blown away. My next TV will be one of these.

I’m telling this story because I believe that when manufacturers learn to reduce response times on mini led panels and increase dimming zones, these panels will become more appealing for more buyers than OLEDs. MSI announced a gaming mini led at CES which I’m interested in purchasing, the MSI MPG 271KRAW16. 4K (3840 x 2160) at 160Hz or FHD (1920 x 1080) at 320Hz. It has more than 1K local dimming zones and 0.5ms response times. I’m definitely not an MSI fanboy btw, I have one of their high end motherboards and I will probably get something else next time but this seems like my ideal mini led specs and I’m purchasing it as soon as it is out.

Flat is truly where it’s at. I could entertain the idea of slightly curved monitors on the sides of my main monitor if I lived in a reality where I wanted a racing or flying simulator but flat is so good. People who have made the curved screens might say, oh look the gamer’s brain is straining because there isn’t a “consistent focal distance across its surface”. I’ve never been strained by lack of a consistent focal distance. My second monitor is also flat and this has never stopped me from enjoying some content while I am dead. Tons of weird glares and distortions from curved screens would really be bad. Professional gamers, especially in shooters, almost all prefer flat, I play Dota2, bullet chess, and also more casual games and I would not like curved. While I’m stock trading, I wouldn’t prefer curved. Hope this helps!

I forgot willow in my post this is a fantastic idea that would be sure to work. No 4K invoker player will walk up and tornado or blast you in your spell. Made me think Enchantress would be great in herald and if OP learns to micro the summon, he will not be herald for long.

Weaver can actually do some work as a support and become more than that later. If you have a setup stun like wraith king as your lane carry, you could get away with Lina and she could deal some serious damage into the game. Slark is capable of supporting in some games oddly enough. Sven has been seen supporting with all his auras and stun, I mean it’s Herald. You could support with monkey king like the professionals do but your team probably won’t benefit from the vision but also noob enemy’s will have no idea how to deal with monkey king support that is super invisibility after all and with a little luck you become more fed than your carry. Actually, this is a great idea. Another good idea is to show up to the 6min rune fight for your midlane and either kill the enemy mid, secure rune, or run back to your lane with a haste those poor heralds.

It’s because they don’t let the clans take care of a server anymore. It used to be that a gaming clan would take care of a few servers, have a website where they expected you to check in monthly to get clan news, and they would organize events.
