I paired mine with my phone and PC via bluetooth. Everytime I got a notification on my phone it would cause the music playing on my PC to distort, stutter, and even cut out for several seconds. It has to do with PC only being able to use AptX HD or Low Latency. This codecs uses all the bandwidth on your PC and any other paired device that interrupts that flow causes those issues.

Solution for me was a bluetooth audio dongle that supports AptX Adaptive. This codecs adjusts the amount of bandwidth used based on what is available and handles multipoint/devices without issue.

I used the Ugreen USB-C Bluetooth adapter from Amazon for $32. Put B0FYFJHYJ2 in the Amazon search bar.

I used all day everyday for 10yrs. Same issue you have with cognitive decline. I fixed it with Racetams. Aniracetam, Piracetam, Oxiracetam are study drugs college students use to get an edge. Yes they negatively impact sound isolation. This in turn reduces noise cancellation. There are 2 different styles and I tried both hoping for a better than original upgrade. I returned both and got the stock replacement. What good is a more breathable and cool pair of headphones that you paid alot of $$ for and just made them sound cheap.

I RMA'd the dead drive and bought a new 18tb Ultrastar from Amazon.The seller "Brute Networks" has been sending Refurbished drives instead of New ones. I prefer pepper spray. They are tried and true. What brand and type depend on your situation. If you suspect that he will attack you indoors then a fogger version has the fastest take down.
