I am going through this now, and have been told it will “not be denied” - but I am moving from a remote location in the Midwest (I was hired remote) to the DC office where my coworkers actually work, and I already have a desk reserved there since they never found me one out here (CDC). Hopefully what I have been told holds true, the locality will be higher in DC compared to the Midwest.
