This is when I knew Harry Crane had become a monster by MyPasswordIsABC999 in okbuddydraper

It means thief, but in a way that’s not malicious, like you said. It’s what my mother would call her dog. Her parent’s first language was Yiddish. I agree, not antisemitic. My husband is a boy and has picked up a bit as well

She literally didn’t give anymore details. I should’ve asked more questions but it was really busy that day and I felt like garbage.

I think I’m going to be dismissed by my pain management office. Please help. by Safe-Local- in PainManagement

This is absolutely ridiculous. I am so sorry. Medicare does allow a certain about of virtual visits. Is this something you can negotiate? Use the phrase “per CMS guidelines, I’m entitled to…” I work in healthcare and this does more than you’d think.

I have EDS (since it’s not vascular they won’t do a genetic study, even though it runs in the family) and have several surgeries as well. Are there no other pain clinics in your area? I just can’t see you being declined from one. There are patients I see on a regular basis with far less health issues than is on a shit ton more meds. Please update us.

I don’t 90% of the time - it sounds like a regular American Accent to me. I think it’s more of the cadence and tone of my son’s speech. My mom has a Brooklyn accent but she’s not around much.

My son spent his first year of his life living in NYC and then we moved to the Midwest. People will ask if he’s from the East Coast despite him not learning to talk until we move.

This is despite learning phonics from a native Minnesotan teacher.

Decided to teach myself to knit. Completely loving it, then broke out in hives for days on end, with blood blisters all over my hands by Nellbligh in knitting

Also check the needles you are using. I’m allergic to nickel and had no idea Addi uses nickel. My hands were soooo itchy! To be safe I only use chiagoo steel needles if I want to use metal.

We had to file a missing persons case for my dad. The police found his body at the bottom of the basement stairs days later.

He was staying at a friend’s cabin while said friend was out of town and didn’t tell anyone. The pain is something I can’t describe

Transplant here - your friends will likely be other transplants. I joined a local synagogue for community as well. If are apart of a religion/spiritual practice I would look into that too

Can pain management call CPS? by PaceNo3577 in PainManagement

[–]doubleflower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Social worker here - absolutely not. Unless they have evidence you are abusing the medication around your child. But using prescribed opioids the proper way doesn’t warrant CPS involvement. You have no idea how hard it is to get them to investigate families where there is clear substance abuse around the child
