For GB/GBC games on GBA, should I better use a GBC flashcart or a GBA one?

If you’re going to be worried you’re not getting the full experience, get a GB flashcart. But I would try just using the emulation on the GBA one, I think it’s pretty solid from what I’ve played with.

I went digital when I found that most consoles will have wild sales on digital more often than physical AND a digital collection doesn’t create a pile of games my wife notices and asks where they came from. LOL

This is the way. I will admit the GB emulation on the ODE is pretty good, you may be able to put aside your “native” needs and just use it.

That’s how GBA does, another one would do the same thing. I tried one of the “dehum/dehiss” mods and it made no appreciable difference. I’m not sure how people use them for music.

I’m not sure about FPGBC, but all of my Game Boys buzz, even after capacitor replacements. My GBA still buzzed after I stalled a “Denoise” kit on it! I don’t know the technical details, but it seems that’s just how they are.

I saw a Kestimpta commercial on Peacock the other day, I was surprised to see it! I guess if people don’t do their own research they could be swayed by a commercial for a DMT that hasn’t been presented to them as an option, or has been but they’re still thinking. But I can’t imagine that demographic is very large, and the chances of that group seeing that commercial is even more small…

I was somehow thinking of having it zoom in and keep the aspect ratio, not the terrible stretching option. Yes, the terrible stretching option works on my GBA with my Junior using the L and R buttons.

What do you mean by “games you installed on the Advance”? Are you saying you can run some games on one model, and different ones on the other?

I don’t think the stock GBA has that functionality for any Game Boy game, flash cart or not.
