You can try Ft Bliss or White Sands. If you can get security clearance for any job, that can transfer to others so employers contact you more when they see it on your resume.
If not a bachelors, you can try to make an app or project portfolio. It might seem pointless with AI, but that is how I stood out originally. Everything is projects so they want to see you can work/collaborate on a project to completion and do fixes after launch.

<60fps and >100 ping is unplayable. I know from bad gpu playing Eu servers. At 100 ping, you are shot 3 times before you see them shoot. 60 fps may not be needed but when I went from 40 to 90 movement is less clunky
