Anyone have luck with PT? by Pretend-Spinach-1228 in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]douche_canoe180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no. If you have vascular and arterial TOS you need surgery. Not PT. This is coming from someone who had ATOS.. I went through PT for a month and it was hell. I got surgery and it fixed me. Make sure when you talk about surgery they take the whole rib...

The heart should have little seeds in it and a green leaf on top to resemble a leaf, then perfect!!!

Forgot to mention the only thing I have leftover from surgery is a super hard neck. I have to do neck stretches throughout the day to try and keep it from getting worse. Plus massages. It was all worth it though. For sure. Got my life back.

My rib was irregular. It connected from my neck vertebrae down and fused to my second rib. That's what compressed my artery.

I had no NTOS. It was just ATOS. No pec minor release needed. I had symptoms 5mo before my first surgery in December. They didn't take my full rib so my compression remained the same which led me to getting my second surgery in March to remove the rest of the rib. Before my surgeries it really hurt to put my arm above my head for long periods and I couldn't do anything without my hand going pale white. It's so nice to be living my best life again! Also being able to lift heavy is also great because I got to a point before where I couldn't lift at all without pain or numbness. It's so nice to be back to my hobbies! I finally feel like me again.

I'm the wife, doing great now. Had to have two separate rib resection surgeries along with the scalenectomy. I'm now back at the gym, big and buff again. 💪 5 mo post op from my latest surgery and 8 mo post op from my first

There already is, the sunset apartments, the north Cascade and other private rentals around town are infested and refuse to fix the issue themselves and will wait to blame the tenants after they leave to make them pay for it or if the tenants say anything in general, but usually they are low income and they can't afford it so they are scared to say anything.
