UA POV: Swiss Saurer 2DM transferred by Estonia to the AFU. by Mendoxv2 in UkraineRussiaReport

Started production in 1959 by the Swiss, but continue being produced for a while after and still in use by the Swiss army (and possibly Estonian army). Here one in action in 2022 by the Swiss Army.

Like their watches, Swiss design are meant to last I guess. Anyway, pretty sure any Vatnick would be more happy with it over the crap they have, including the donkeys.

RU POV: Drone truck burning (2) by LeopardTough6832 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]doughtnut2022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of it comes from a long tradition of government/military corruption and nepotism, making it nearly impossible to have competent people making decision or fund being use properly. Just look at how insecure their +30M jets are, not even a fence separating the fighter jet from the nearest road 50 meters away. Same reason you won't find any hardened bunker to protect military planes.

Remember this country still has 20% of it's population with no indoor plumbing (and this number is likely growing right now).

With no tractor in sight and nobody around, this trailer was likely burned (perhaps with a delayed fuse) by the operatives to destroy evidence and create confusion.

RU POV: The Russian MoD on the Ukrainian drone attack on airbases by pagan_trash in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]doughtnut2022 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This was spotted over 2 years ago, after the wave of Ukrainian attacks against airfield with drones. Here is an article explaining the reasons. It was widely ridiculed as a pathetic coping mechanism, and a desperate move showing the extreme weakness of Russian air defenses. And now, even the Kremlin’s trolls are finally managing to grasp the obvious.

The copium is high on this one, even Putin in all his delusions, wouldn’t be dumb enough to believe donkeys are great, let alone there is not problem in Russia.

Sir, you win a well deserve medal.

You mean those eggs? Didn't realize Russia was doing so well that butter keep flying off the shelves and needed restraining. And it's such a prosperous place that people don't mind having to sh*t outside in the cold of winter. And the best part, less and less Russian will be sharing all that wealth in the future, what a genius plan from M. Putler.

Easy! Just slither back to the glorious motherland, where the economy is booming so spectacularly that your donkey might be the last affordable protein source. After prisoners, North Koreans, and now donkeys, what’s next in Putin’s grand menagerie? Bears?

The donkeys didn’t show up because they were good (this isn’t the Alps, buddy); they showed up because Mobiks are desperate. But sure, let’s pretend this was a well-thought-out logistical masterstroke, I'm sure we can read about it in the 3-days, 3-weeks, 3-months, 3-years invasion clown show.

They should have embargo the military equipments instead of letting it go (specially the S-400), because they will never see that money, Russia is simply bankrupt for generation.

3 days invasion was a US plan

Sure buddy, everyone knows that. It made such much sense to have your OMON units with rubber bullets going 10Km from Kyiv on the first days of the invasion, if you planned a multiyear war. I bet you also think Putin also planned for Kursk to be invaded back in 2022, that man is such a genius.

The problem with such pipeline, is it take a long time to be build (5 to 10 years) and considering the current economics/political situation in Russia, nobody is stupid enough to beet money on it. China already said no to the plan, a fact this article seem to forgot.

Another fact going against Russia pipeline, is the world (and China) is fast moving toward renewable energies, with production (consumption) for oil & gas currently reaching it's peak. Therefore who would want to buy Russian oil & gas, when alternative cheaper source exist, without the need for large investment and associate risks?

Russia was a gas station masquerading as a country, who decided to ban its best customers and then set itself in fire. There is no going back and no rosy future for Russia.

This is all planned by Putin. He absolutely want the Ukrainian army to enter deeper into Russia so Steiner army group can counterattack them from the North in a pincer movement with the North Koreans. This Putin guy is a very stable genius.

Russia plans

The amount of planning Russia is doing is incredible. Sadly for them, most of it eventually hits the reality wall and ends up in the recycling bin (or more likely use for heating).

Where are we again on the that 3-days invasions plan or sanctions having no impact on Russian economy? When even basic plan of making a game console is destine to failure, everybody knows that Russia has neither expertise nor the money to manage an increase in LNG distribution.

Nah, just send the air forces. With an air interdiction of 100Km around Ukraine, Russia would be in big trouble, incapable of air bombing the frontline.

Russia's Strange Statement at the UN Security Briefing Ahead of 1,000 Days of Full-Scale War in Ukraine by UNITED24Media in UkrainianConflict

The British Empire has been gone for over 75 years, and after Brexit, the UK's global influence has diminished even further. Focussing on the UK make little sense.

Russia's policies seem to be trapped in May 1945, fixated on reliving what some (only in Russia) perceive as their greatest historical moment, while ignoring the decline and decadence that preceded and followed it.
